Retro design meets modern connectivity and materials in the Thermaltake Retro 360 TG

Although the company already presented them at CES 2026, it is now, at Computex in Taipei, when we have been able to see Thermaltake’s new “retro” box live, for lovers of the golden age of personal computing.

We refer to the Thermaltake Retro 360 TGa box that attracts attention for emulating the legendary design of personal computers from the 90s, with that characteristic light gray plastic finish and even with a fake floppy disk reader on the front.

However, it is only an “old” tower in those touches, since in the rest of the specifications, the inclusion of a tempered glass panel, and even the incorporation of an optional 6-inch screen on the front makes it clear that it is an up-to-date box.

This tower from Thermaltake is capable of housing ATX motherboards, even those with hidden connector formats such as BTF. Up to 12 fans fit inside, of which two are already pre-installed, along with a front port system that includes a USB-C 3.1 (3.2 gen 2) and a USB-A 3.0 along with the audio minijack.

Its price will be around $90.

The TG 260 is the smallest of the retro family

Along with it, they have also shown the TG 260, a smaller model for Micro-ATX motherboards; but also compatible with BTF, with support for up to 9 fans and space for the 6-inch LCD screen.
