ASUS presents its NUC 14 Essential Fanless, processors up to Intel N250 and barebone option without memory or SSD
For industrial environments, ASUS has a new device available with processors Intrel n250 and N150. A device that works no need for active ventilationideal for operation 24/7 with less worries. An ultra-low consumption device under its platform NUC of the most basic rangeideal for industrial environments that require a device with the least maintenance.
ASUS NUC 14 Essential Fanless: a fanless Mini PC for 24/7 use
This new ASUS NUC 14 Essential Fanless MiniPC has processors Intel N150 and N250which is accompanied by RAM memory DDR5 in SO-DIMM format with a maximum of 32 GB. For storage, you can add an SSD main drive in its slot M.2 compatible with PCIe 3.0 x4but it also has a second slot with size 2242 for drives M.2 SATA.
To offer a fanless passive coolingASUS has considerably increased the size of the heatsink. Despite this, the NUC has a size of only 135 x 115 x 45mm with a weight of almost 1.2 kilos for the complete equipment. The MiniPC has also passed military grade testing MIL-STD-810H to work under extreme conditions of humidity, vibration or in case of receiving blows.
Wi-Fi 6E, 2.5 GbE and up to three 4K monitors
In these models you can connect to the internet via cable, with its 2.5Gbps RJ45 portalthough it also comes with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. To connect accessories and peripherals we find several ports USB-A and USB-C, with speeds up to 10 Gbps. For video output you can use its connector HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4 with a dedicated port or via USB-C, compatible with 4K resolution and up to 3 monitors simultaneously.
