ASUS will celebrate 20 years of ROG at Computex 2026 with a special event in Taipei

ASUS has announced that Republic of Gamers will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a special event during Computex 2026, where Geeknetic will be on the front line covering all the news. The event will take place on June 1 between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. at Syntrend Creative Park in Taipei and will bring together media, fans and members of the gaming community in an event focused on the brand’s history and its upcoming releases. The company frames the event within the official celebration of the two decades of ROG.

The chosen place has a symbolic value for ASUS. Syntrend Creative Park is located in Guanghua commercial district, an area closely linked to PC assembly and technological trade in Taiwan. According to the brand itself, this enclave is part of ROG’s early history, to the point that some of its first motherboards were able to begin circulating in that environment two decades ago. ASUS uses that connection to place the anniversary in a space linked to the origins of the brand.

The event will feature a speech by the president of ASUS, Jonney Shihand will be presented by Ned Luke. During the event, the evolution of ROG will be reviewed from its first products to its current catalog of gaming hardware, which includes motherboards, laptops, desktops, peripherals and other devices. ASUS has also indicated that it will show special 20th anniversary products and different hands-on demos. The company has not yet detailed which specific models will be shown.

The event will be held before the opening of the ROG stand at the fair

The anniversary celebration will also serve as a prelude to ASUS’s presence at Computex. The company has confirmed that Your ROG booth will be open from June 2 to 5 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. There he will continue to show his products to the professional public and fair attendees. The June 1 event will serve as the opening of ROG’s agenda at Computex 2026.

The note also mentions ROG Lab, an initiative with which ASUS brings together projects and developments linked to new experiences and technologies for gamers. The brand will present it as part of its vision of the future during this anniversary. This section will share space with the review of ROG history and the planned demonstration activities.

The appointment comes at a time when ASUS continues to renew several product lines. In recent days, we have seen that the brand is preparing an update of the ROG NUC aimed at Intel’s new Arrow Lake Refresh, while in another different segment the company has also presented a lightweight Chromebook with a design focused on repairability. With this event, ASUS will concentrate an important part of its brand showcase at Computex gaming.
