Corsair 2800X RS-R ARGB, micro ATX tower with space for large format graphics
The new Corsair 2800X RS-R ARGB It is a micro ATX format box based on its well-known line 3500X but with a more compact design.
Despite its smaller size compared to ATX models, this model does not cut back on high-end hardware compatibility, as it supports large graphics cards with a free space of up to 410 mm and allows the installation of liquid cooling radiators of up to 360 mm on top.
The space is distributed in a main compartment with a small lower box for the safe. The PCI slots have been cut to reduce their dimensions and make room for the hardware.
On an aesthetic level, it has tempered glass panels on the front and on the left side to expose all the hardware. It comes from the factory with three reverse rotor RS120-R ARGB PWM fans equipped with magnetic bearings, they act as a fresh air intake and connect directly to the motherboard using a standard 4-pin connector and a 5V ARGB cable. In total, the interior design allows it to house up to 10 120 mm fans distributed throughout the body.
The Corsair 2800X RS-R ARGB offers native support for new motherboards with rear connectors from Asus, MSI and Gigabyte, eliminating visible cables. It also adds a stabilizer arm to prevent the weight of the graphics card from damaging the PCIe slot or being tilted. It also offers support for two 2.5″ SSDs or a traditional 3.5″ mechanical hard drive.
In the upper area is the connection panel with a USB 3.0 Type A port and a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type C connector capable of reaching transfer speeds of up to 20 Gb/s.
