During the last CES, HP surprised us with an unusual PC format where it had been introduced inside a keyboard. This format, which had previously been seen with a Raspberry Pi inside, relied on much more powerful processors. The new HP EliteBoard G2a is the update of this curious format of PC inside a keyboardwhich now includes the new AMD APUs. A design that has been maintained despite renewing the interior with this new series of processors.

This new small computer has two processor options, the AMD Ryzen AI 5 PRO 435 or a more powerful one Ryzen AI PRO 7 450. The first offers 6 Zen 5 cores and 12 threads, along with an integrated GPU Radeon 840Mthe second goes up to 8 Zen 5 cores and 16 threads and an integrated GPU Radeon 860M. It also has space for two DDR5 SO-DIMM memories with a maximum of 64 GB and 5,600 MT/s. For storage, an M.2 slot compatible with PCIe 4.0 has been chosen with configurations of up to 2TB.

The keyboard is backlit and a full size with numeric keypad has been chosen, helping to get more space inside for the hardware. It comes with stereo speakers and even a built-in microphone, and connects with USB 4 to an external screen. Connects to the internet through Wi-Fi 7 and you can connect other peripherals through its 40 and 10 Gbps USB-C, but remember that you will not need a keyboard.

Despite entering this configuration, the dimensions are only 358.1 x 118.7 x 17.9mm and a weight of 670 grams.
