Lenovo launches the Yoga Pro 7 with Ryzen AI Max+ 388 “Strix Halo” processor

Lenovo has launched its new Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11a laptop with a 15.3-inch screen that stands out for being one of the first models to debut the new processor AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 388based on the “Strix Halo” architecture. The equipment is already sold in countries such as Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore, in addition to being listed in Europe, although it cannot yet be purchased here.

The processor Ryzen AI Max+ 388 It has an 8-core and 16-thread Zen 5 architecture, with a base frequency of 3.6 GHz and a maximum speed of 5.0 GHz, complemented by 8 MB of L2 cache and 32 MB of L3 cache. It has a dedicated 50 TOPS NPU, which combines with the GPU and CPU to reach a total of 118 TOPS.

The Radeon 8060S, the most powerful integrated GPU at the moment, can use up to 48 GB of RAM, as long as there is enough memory. It has integrated LPDDR5X-8000 modules with capacities of 32 GB or 64 GB, with plans to offer a 128 GB variant. Mass storage is covered by two M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots (one in 2242 and another 2280 format) that allow configurations of up to 1 TB.

The visual section is supported by a 15.3-inch OGS touch OLED panel with a 2.5K resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels) in 16:10 format with a refresh rate of 165 Hz. This display reaches a maximum brightness of 1100 nits in HDR content (500 nits typical in SDR) and offers 100% coverage of the DCI-P3, sRGB and Adobe RGB color spaces. In addition, it has AMD FreeSync compatibility and DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification.

The autonomy of the device depends on a lithium battery of 84Wh which is powered by a 140W USB-C source. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, are combined with USB4, USB 3.1, an HDMI 2.1 output and a UHS-II SD card reader. All of this is integrated into an aluminum body with dimensions of 347 x 242 x 16.7 millimeters and a weight of 1.71 kg.
