MSI confirms a version of its Claw 8 EX AI+ with the Intel Arc G3

The past COMPUTEX Intel presented its new Intel Arc G3 Series gaming platform. A platform currently made up of two references, and it seems that one more is on the way. But so far only consoles have appeared with the most powerful of these APUs, the Intel Arc G3 Extremeleaving aside the reduced version that gives its name to the platform, the Intel Arc G3. It seems that he will soon make an appearance, since MSI has confirmed a version of its Claw 8 EX AI+ with this processor.

He Intel Arc G3 has gone unnoticed since its launch last June, as all manufacturers’ attention was focused on the Intel Arc G3 Extreme. The first consoles that we were able to see during COMPUTEX all included the most powerful model, and currently the available offer is also offered with this processor. But MSI has a new model of its console on its hands Claw 8 EX AI+ CG3M with an Intel Arc G3 which, presumably, will have a cheaper price.

The difference is in the processor speed and integrated graphics included, which in this Intel Arc G3 model is the Intel Arc B370. This model, despite having 10 Xe3 cores instead of the 12 of the Extreme version, is capable of running at 2.2 GHz and offer up to 90 TOPS for AI with INT8 precision.

The Claw 8 EX AI+ with Arc G3 could arrive with 32 GB of RAM

At the moment there is no other information beyond the existence of this model, although it seems that it will also come with 32 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a 512 GB disk drive. The rest of the features seem similar, such as a 8-inch screen with VRR up to 120 Hz.

We also do not know when this model with the Intel Arc G3 will be available, although some sellers in the United States have already created the online sheet for this productwhich may come sooner than we think.
