After having launched the first portable router with 5G and WiFi 7 capability, the Nighthawk 5G M7 Pro, Netgear has now announced a more compact version called Nighthawk 5G M7.

This model retains the WiFi 7 and 5G connectivity of its older brother, in a smaller format and with a central screen for configuration and monitoring.

It is capable of reaching up to 3.6 Gbps of wireless speed through WiFi 7 to distribute it among 32 devices. Its 5G connectivity supports Sub6 CA to reach up to 4 Gbps of download bandwidth, thanks to the modem Qualcom DragonWing SDX72.

Includes a battery to operate without a power outlet for about 10 hours.

The support for eSIM stands out through an application with a kind of store where eSIM cards from more than 140 countries can be purchased directly, without a doubt, a very interesting way of allowing users to have the best rates when they travel.

In addition to eSIM support, the Nighthawk 5G M7 also supports physical SIMs. On the other hand, the integrated USB-C also allows the connection of an Ethernet adapter, or directly transferring the network connection through the USB itself.

The price of this Nightwak 5G M7 will be high. We are talking about $500, although its older brother “Pro” without operator subsidy reaches double that figure.
