New HWiNFO 8.53 beta adds support for Intel Nova Lake QS samples

If just a few days ago we were talking to you about the new version of AIDA64, this time it is HWiNFO’s turn. On this occasion, the news is not related to the disappearance of support for older versions of Windows. Rather, they give us clues as to what Intel will show us next. The latest version of the diagnostic tool is beta 8.53, specifically build 6075.

In this new version, support for Intel Novale Lake processors is added in the QS phase, that is, a qualification sample. This phase is well ahead of the earliest samples of the processors and corresponds to about chips practically identical to those that will hit the market in the future.

System Agent voltage telemetry and silicon in the hands of partners

But the change log does not only add identifiers to recognize the names of the processors, but also solves bugs and errors, such as the one in reading the System Agent VID value. This is responsible for managing the voltage of the memory controller and the internal interconnection.

This setting gives us evidence that the tool’s developers are working with telemetry data extracted from a working chip. Additionally, the voltage correction confirms that validation partners are already evaluating chips on breadboards, preparing firmware support for the future platform.

Although Intel has not yet revealed a formal date to put its new chips on sale, industry forecasts place the launch of this architecture for this year, although some point to early 2027. The company’s plans include first launching the desktop models with configurations of up to 28 cores, reserving the 52-core variants for later.

Returning to HWiNFO, this is the complete list of changes that come with the latest beta and that the developers have published on their official forum:

  • Fixed PCH power consumption reporting on Intel Panther Lake processors and later.

  • Added fan load reporting feature for Thermal Grizzly WireView Pro II.

  • Added options to insert notes into the sensor JSON log.

  • Improved support for Nova Lake QS and fixed SA VID reporting.

  • Improved sensor monitoring on ASUS X870 MAX series.
