Samsung tests AI notification summaries in One UI 8.5
Samsung is developing an artificial intelligence feature in One UI 8.5 which will allow long notifications to be summarized, making it easier for the user to read extensive conversations without opening each complete message. According to the leaks, this feature will be activated from a new section called Notification Summarieswhere users can enable or disable it and select which applications to include in the summaries.
Apparently, AI feature will automatically run on long notificationsshowing a brief summary that allows you to quickly understand the content from the notification panel. Although the feature is in testing, Samsung warns that the AI can make mistakes and that users will be able to manage specific applications to exclude them from the summary system. This feature could debut alongside the Galaxy S26, whose presentation is expected in 2026.

In addition to AI summaries, One UI 8.5 will include the feature Privacy Displaydesigned to limit the side visibility of the screen. This technology will allow you to protect notifications, picture-in-picture windows and gallery items labeled as private, automatically activating in busy environments thanks to an Auto Privacy switch.
