This trick works in both groups and private chatsan advantage offered by Pável Duróv’s messaging application, although it is somewhat hidden. The app WhatsApp does not have this advantageso in this application you will be limited to seeing them from the notifications. But what if you have them disabled?

On Telegram you can see 1, 2 or 50 messagesthere is no limit, and these will continue appearing without viewing verificationdespite having been able to know its content. You will also not have a time limit to read them, you can calmly pass each message and even do screenshots. You can view both text messages and photos, but unfortunately it does not work with voice notes, although it does with video messages.

For voice notes you need to touch the screenthis is the only essential requirement that you can’t do with this little trick. However, video messages can be reproduce simply acting the volume buttonthese will continue not to appear with read confirmation. You will also not be able to see the images in full screen, or open images that are sent with privacy for a single view or for several seconds, since these are actions that require touching the screen.

But let’s see how to do this in a few simple steps, and without having to touch anything in the Android or iOS settings or having to activate other options.

View messages without read receipts

To perform this little trick you can use a Telegram version for mobile deviceswhether it is a phone or tablet, or it also works with the PC version from Telegram Desktop.

Basically what you will do is preview the conversation that interests you to read messages on Telegram, and you can navigate through it normally to be able to see your content. You will be able to see new messages and also those already seen, just as if you had the conversation open.

Let’s see how to do it on mobile devices, for this you will have to follow these steps.

1. Open Telegram on your phone or tablet.

   

2. Go to the conversation where you want to see the conversation without checking.

   

3. Tap on the image, icon or avatar circular of the person, channel or group you want to access and keep your finger touching it.

   

4. Next the conversation will open on a pop-up window that will allow you to see all its content.

To go back without them still being marked with read verification, you just have to knock outside the window popup that appears.

Now you can scroll through the conversationbeing careful not to make a single touch on the screen, otherwise it will open completely and the messages will be shown as read. If you find a video message you can give it to one of the volume buttons to listen to it in addition to reproducing it. But unfortunately, as we have mentioned before, cannot listen to voice messages.

If you are trying to do this same thing in a group that has subgroupsit is also possible. For this instead of using the image, icon or avatar, you will have to leave the finger on the icon preceding the subgroup name. It may be a little difficult at first, but with a few tries it becomes very easy.

2. Locate the conversation which you want to access without marking messages as read.

   

3. Now, with the left or right mouse button, press and hold about the photo, image or avatar in the conversation. A pop-up window similar to the one we have seen in the mobile version will immediately open.

   

4. With your mouse wheel you can browse for the conversation.

In the same way as before, for groups that have subgroups, take your mouse to main icon and leave it pressed there to open the preview.
