The OnePlus 15 lands in Spain: a flagship with a huge battery and the latest from Qualcomm

OnePlus had already given us almost all the details of the OnePlus 15. Now, the brand has announced the official launch in Spain of its new high-end terminal. The device is now available for purchase since November 13 and marks the arrival to the international market of a phone that seeks to compete in the highest range with outstanding specifications, such as a huge capacity battery and an almost industrial level of resistance to water and dust.

The terminal can be purchased through the official OnePlus website, as well as from other authorized distributors. It comes in two different configurations: the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at 979 euroswhile the higher version, with 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage, amounts to 1,129 euros.

Battery and performance: the two columns of the OnePlus 15

One of the most striking aspects of the OnePlus 15 is its battery. The company has integrated a unit of 7,300 mAh with Silicon NanoStack technology, which they claim allows the battery to maintain more than 80% of its total capacity after four years of use. In addition, the terminal is capable of operating stably at temperatures down to -20°C.

Luckily, this battery supports fast charging. 120W SUPERVOOCwhich allows you to charge the device to 100% in 39 minutes. Support for 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging is also included.

The second pillar of the device is its performance. The OnePlus 15 is not based on a single processor, but on what the brand describes as a “triple chip architecture.” The main core is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Added to this is a chip dedicated exclusively to touch response, offering a sampling rate of 3200 Hz. The third chip is an independent Wi-Fi unit, designed to maintain more stable connections in congested network environments.

To manage the heat generated by these components, the phone incorporates the 360 ​​Cryo-Velocity cooling system, which uses materials such as white graphite and airgel insulation. With gamers in mind, the device also includes a high-precision gyroscope (±4000 DPS) to reduce aim drift in games.

A mobile designed for multimedia

In the photographic section, the OnePlus 15 has a triple camera system, all 50 megapixels. The sensor Main features optical stabilization (OIS). It is accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle sensor with autofocus capacity to take macros and a periscope telephoto lens with a 3.5x optical zoom and a 7x “optical quality” zoom. As for video, the device can record in 4K at 120 frames per second with Dolby Vision. It also offers support for recording in LOG format and previewing LUTs in real time, aimed at users who need greater control in post-production and color grading.

The screen is a panel 1.5K LTPO which achieves an adaptive refresh rate of 165Hz. It offers a maximum brightness of 1800 nits for good outdoor visibility and can be dimmed to 1 nit for night use, with TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 5.0 certification.

The software is OxygenOS 16, based on Android 16, which introduces new artificial intelligence features. The most notable is ‘AI Plus Mind’, which, through a dedicated physical key, allows you to save screen content in a knowledge base called Mind Space.

The system integrates Google Geminiwhich can access that information to offer personalized responses. AI tools are also included for transcribing meetings (AI Recorder) or for writing texts (AI Writer).

Finally, the design stands out for its durability. The OnePlus 15 has obtained IP66, IP68 (immersion up to 2 meters for 30 minutes), IP69 and IP69K. This last certification, unusual in smartphones, ensures that the terminal resists high-pressure water jets and temperatures of up to 80 °C. The device will be available in three finishes: Infinite Black (matte glass), Sand Storm (reinforced frame) and Ultra Violet.
