WhatsApp finally arrives at the iPad
Interestingly, one of the most famous applications in the world, if not the most famous, was not available in a version for Apple iPads. We talk about WhatsAppthe popular instant messaging application that revolutionized communication when smartphones began to popularize.
The company itself, now owned by Meta (Facebook), has announced that the Apple tablets version of its popular application is now available, adapting it to be used on larger screens and horizontal formats, so “only” 16 years after launching in iOS.
All WhatsApp functions for iPhone are present in the iPad version, but with a user interface designed to use in the largest screen format of these tablets with respect to the version that already existed for mobiles.
Supports the typical functions of the application: messages, groups, video calls of 32 people, possibility of sharing the screen and using all the cameras of the device, etc.
It is also integrated into the “multitasking” system, allowing split view or state manager in compatible models, in addition to the keyboard support and the company’s iPad stylus.
From right now, WhatsApp for iPad can already be downloaded directly from the Apple App Store.
