Windows 11 Search will be renewed this fall with better performance and new features

During yesterday’s Microsoft event, not only were the new Surface Laptop Ultra under the RTX Spark platform. We were also able to see how these new NVIDIA SoCs can run hundreds of gamesin addition to obtaining great performance in Artificial Intelligence tasks. But the event lasted long enough to present Windows 11 news, such as the new search that will incorporate Microsoft’s flagship operating system.

Windows 11 will renew its quest to improve performance

Now the Windows search works under WinUI 3which offers better performance, faster and lower resource consumption. A perfect combo for users who often complained about Windows resource optimization, and which can now consume less RAM even running faster and more efficiently.

One of the new functions is the possibility of change Windows settings directly from the taskbar. Phrases like “switch to dark mode”, activate Bluetooth” or “mute” will prevent you from having to navigate with the mouse through the menus and submenus to perform the specific action. These are just some of the initial examples, although it is also planned that it can even send messages through a mobile phone synchronized with Windows.

Windows Search will also improve with Copilot and web preview

As we have already said before, the search also better handles the typos and incomplete words. Microsoft also plans to expand the information and details of files along with web preview for later this year. Copilot is also present in the search, forming part of the results shown, and with a shortcut that will open the application.

The new search seems to be coming this same fallalthough at the moment there is no more exact scheduled date. The users of Insider will be able to try it starting today to leave your feedback about these new features.
