80 NPU TOPS in Mini PC format for the first time
ASUS has revealed at Computex 2026 a complete renewal of its range of Mini PCs, NUCs and compact AI systemswith models ranging from office desktop solutions to small form factor supercomputers capable of running large-scale language models locally. The proposal covers a very wide range of use cases and reflects the company’s determined commitment to take AI computing outside the traditional data center.
The ASUS Ascent GX10, accelerated by the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip with 128GB Unified Memory and Petaflop-Class Performanceshas won the Computex 2026 Best Choice award in the Computing and Technology in AI category, a recognition that gives an idea of the level of interest it has generated among professionals in the sector.
The world’s first Mini PC with 80 NPU TOPS arrives with the Ascent QN10
He ASUS Ascent QN10 It is presented as the world’s first AI Mini PC equipped with 80 TOPS NPUs, and is probably the most unique product in this entire family. Works with Snapdragon X2 Elite processor with 18-core Qualcomm Oryon CPUa platform that until now had been seen mainly in premium laptops and that here makes the leap to the compact desktop format. The result is a Mini PC with local AI processing capability that is unprecedented in its size category.
The Snapdragon Guardian technology It is integrated as standard to reinforce the security of the device and facilitate its remote management, making it a viable option not only for advanced users, but also for business environments that need to deploy multiple devices and manage them centrally. It is a detail that differentiates it from other Mini PCs oriented exclusively to performance without thinking about scale management.
What makes the QN10 interesting beyond the numbers is the type of workloads it can move locally– Medium-sized language models, image generation, audio transcription or document analysis without having to send anything to the cloud. With 80 TOPS NPUs, the team can execute these tasks with very low latency and without the recurring costs associated with cloud services. For small businesses or professionals who work with sensitive data, that point has quite a bit of value.
Other ASUS models that can also be seen at Computex
Although the bulk of the launches in this segment fall on the previous model, the ASUS stand at Computex 2026 will also have the presence of the ExpertCenter PN5, the NUC 16 and the NUC 16 Pro, two devices that are not new, but that the company takes advantage of the fair to show in context.
The ExpertCenter PN55 offers up to 55 TOPS NPUs with XDNA2 engine and AMD Radeon 800M graphics, aimed at creative flows with local AI. The NUC 16, for its part, reaches 40 TOPS and covers lighter use cases in offices, shops and IoT applications. The NUC 16 Pro, with up to 180 TOPS and support for Intel SuperClaw, will also be present at the stand, although it was already presented previously. None of the three is new in itself, but their presence at the stand reflects the breadth of the range that ASUS wants to show buyers and distributors during the fair.
