From robots that clean your house to humanoids of the future: we launch ROBONETIC, our new digital robotics magazine

If you are a regular reader of GEEKNETIC, you will have seen that in recent months we have published a lot of unusual content for a computer, hardware and gaming website like ours: vacuum cleaner robots, lawnmower robots, pool robots, humanoid robots, autonomous vehicles, etc.

We have not gone crazy and it is not a coincidence. It all comes from what I come to tell you today:

We have launched a new website / online magazine dedicated exclusively to news, reviews and articles about robotics consumption; Its name is ROBONETIC. The name is not a coincidence either, it makes a deliberately obvious nod to GEEKNETIC and we do not want to hide the fact that they are publications that, although they deal with different topics, are closely linked. We also did this with PRONETIC, our technology website/magazine for companies, which we launched in January 2025.

Thus, the GEEKNETIC group now has 3 headers:

  • GEEKNETIC: Hardware, IT and Gaming aimed at end users. Our flagship and our main publication, with which we have a history of 24 years.
  • PRONETIC: Technology for companies, from SMEs to Large Corporations.
  • ROBONETIC: Robotics for the home, advances in humanoids and robotic technologies, drones and autonomous vehicles.

Each of our titles has its own editorial line and its own themes, but all of them they share the same DNA: Own testing laboratories, maximum technical rigor in all reviews, total impartiality, and objectivity in all our articles to bring you the freshest and most relevant information of the moment.

Thus, we will leave GEEKNETIC solely and exclusively for the topics that we have traditionally covered: computing, hardware and gaming. From now on everything that has to do with robotics will be published in ROBONETIC.

ROBONETIC: A website for robotics enthusiasts

Starting today, October 23, 2026, we open the doors of our new publication on consumer robotics.

This is what ROBONETIC looks like a few minutes after its launch.

At ROBONETIC we will discuss the news on all these topics:

  • Robot Vacuum Cleaner: Like the one you already have at home, but the new ones that come out.
  • Lawn Mower Robots: To automate the care of your garden.
  • Pool Robots: To keep the pool clean.
  • Humanoids: Everything that is related to bipedal robots that imitate humans. We will follow how technology evolves.
  • Technology and Components: Above all, we will talk in detail about the new chips and processors that are coming out to give life to the robots of the future. There will also be room for other components such as servos, development platforms, special wiring, etc.
  • Children’s Robots: Robots that are designed as toys but that hide certain risks
  • Kitchen Robots: Like the famous Thermomix and its competitors.
  • Mobile Robots: Like those with 4 legs that imitate dogs, or those with wheels, like the one who serves you dishes in restaurants.
  • Window cleaning robots
  • Drones
  • Autonomous Vehicles

We are going to provide you with all the possible news on all these topics. Today you can find in ROBONETIC a guide on the current situation with humanoids, a guide on how lawnmower robots have evolved, our first review of a robot vacuum cleaner, a guide on the differences between economical pool robots to the most expensive ones and a guide on the safety of children’s robotic toys based on a recent study.

Regarding reviews, we will try to do so with as many products as possible. For this We have prepared an extension to our laboratory in Galicia with the following features:

  • A surface (and stairs) to test modern robot vacuum cleaners
  • A 5700m2 garden with different types of grass to test lawnmower robots, with slopes of different inclinations, flat areas, different types of grass and different types of edges and obstacles.
  • A 115m2 pool to test pool robots.

We hope that everything we publish on this new website is of great interest to you and that it can be useful to you, whether you are a robotics enthusiast or if you are thinking of buying a robot and want to see what’s new and how it behaves in our laboratory tests.
