Cooler Master’s new fans use cast aluminum blades to avoid deformation at high revolutions
Cooler Master has presented its new fans MasterFan A Series and MasterFan M Seriestwo ranges aimed at offering a combination of high static pressure, good air flow and low noise level. Both series have been evaluated by Cybenetics Labs, one of the leading independent laboratories in the certification of performance of fans and power supplies.
According to Cooler Master, both the MasterFan A120 and the MasterFan M120 They are among the best 120 mm fans analyzed to date by that laboratoryespecially in static pressure generation, which has earned them the Diamond ratingthe highest possible in this type of certification.
At the moment, both series reach the market only in 120mm formatalthough Cooler Master has already confirmed that the 140mm format will arrive later for those who prefer larger fans in their cooling systems. The A120 and M120 models They are now available for pre-order through Amazon.
Different materials than conventional fans
One of the aspects that most distinguishes the new MasterFan A Series from the rest of the fans on the market is its construction. While the vast majority of PC fans use plastic blades, Cooler Master has opted for cast aluminum blades combined with a frame also made of aluminum, with the aim of achieving practically zero deformation even at high revolutions per minute.
This choice of materials allows maintain a clearance between blade and frame of only 0.6 mma very tight tolerance that helps reduce air leaks and improve cooling efficiency through dense radiators, compact heatsinks, or partially clogged case air inlets. The smaller this clearance, the less air escapes from the sides of the blades without generating useful pressure, which translates into more consistent performance, especially in liquid cooling configurations with high-density fin radiators.

MasterFan M Series, designed for a wider audience
Compared to the more pure performance-oriented approach of the A series, the MasterFan M Series takes a slightly different approach. These models use blades made of LCP (liquid crystal polymer)a light material that Cooler Master combines with its Magnetic Dynamic Bearing technologydesigned to reduce operating noise and extend the useful life of the fan over time.
In addition, the M series incorporates lightning Second generation ARGB integrated into the central cube, a detail designed for those looking for visual customization in their system without giving up solid cooling performance. According to Cooler Master, this series has been developed to reach a wider audience than the A series, offering tight tolerances and good static pressure while adding an aesthetic component that the first range does not contemplate.

Summary of main features
Among the key points that Cooler Master highlights from both series are the full aluminum framepresent in both the A and M series, which improves the overall rigidity of the fan, reduces frame flexing and provides a more stable operating structure over time. Added to this are the exclusive aluminum blades of the A series, which better resist bending and maintain the blade geometry under sustained load, guaranteeing a constant air flow even in demanding conditions.
For its part, the LCP blades combined with magnetic bearing of the M series prioritize quiet operation and greater long-term reliability, while the ARGB Gen 2 lighting adds the possibility of visual customization for those who assemble systems with tempered glass side panels.

Cybenetics Certification and What the Diamond Rating Means
Cybenetics Labs Diamond certification is not easy to achieve. The laboratory evaluates the fans on different parameters, including the generated air flow, static pressure, noise level at different revolutions and overall product efficiency. That both the MasterFan A120 and M120 have achieved this rating among all 120mm fans evaluated to date by Cybenetics is a relevant indicator of the level of optimization that Cooler Master has applied to the design of both series.
For those looking to improve the cooling of their equipment, whether through a liquid cooling radiator, an oversized air cooler, or simply the overall airflow of the case, these types of independent certifications offer an objective benchmark beyond the numbers that each manufacturer provides on their own spec sheets.
The MasterFan A120 and MasterFan M120 fans can now be pre-ordered on Amazon, although Cooler Master has not yet confirmed a final retail price for either model. Nor has a specific date been detailed for the moment for the arrival of the 140 mm variants, which the company has confirmed will be available “later” without further specificity in time.
