Logitech MX Keypad is the new control center for developers with integration into GitHub Copilot, Claude Code and OpenAI Codex

Logitech is a brand known for its gaming mice and other gaming accessories, although it also has a range of products for professionals and businesses. To complete the latter, Logitech has launched the new MX Keypada fully customizable control center that will allow you to manage your productivity tools on a daily basis. It is compatible with a multitude of tools for AI and development environmentsallowing prompts and macros to be executed quickly and easily.

The new Logitech MX Keypad It is designed by and for developers, with contributions directly from the community of GitHub and Logitech MX Collective. This Keypad is a physical control center that will give you extra control over your tools to adapt them to your workflow. It offers compatibility between different tools and even on different development platforms, which are complemented with a great customization.

Additionally, a series of plugin for GitHub Copilot and Claude Codewhich have been endorsed and even developed by the community itself. It has been designed in collaboration with GitHub to offer native integration, including VS Code and the GitHub Copilot appand with plans to expand its functionalities and tools in the future. Also included for free is a 3-month subscription to GitHub Copilot Pro+ with each unit.

Customization and SDK to integrate AI, macros and tools

The complete customization is another of its strong points, with a SDK available that will allow you to create new tools and integrate it into your workflow, whatever it may be. You can also make use of the agents to create integrations directly from this development kit. There are already some available for Claude Code vs OpenAI Codex.

Logitech MX Keypad relies on recycled materials

As always, Logitech is also committed to sustainabilityand this MX Keypad is built with at least one 64% post-consumer recycled plastic in the Graphite model and the 49% in the Pale Gray model. The packaging has also received the FSC certification.

This new Logitech MX Keypad will be available starting today in selected markets with a price of 99.99 euros regardless of the color chosen.
