AOC launches the GAMING Q27G4ZRAD with QHD, 260 Hz and G-SYNC Compatible certification

AGON by AOC has presented the AOC GAMING Q27G4ZRADa new reference within its popular G4 series that the brand describes as its range designed for both esports enthusiasts and more general players. It is a 27 inch flat monitor which combines a Fast IPS panel with a high refresh rate, in line with what AOC has been offering in the rest of the G4 family.

The company positions this launch as a catalog expansion rather than as a complete redesign, aiming to perfect the formula that has already worked in previous models of the series.

Fast IPS panel in QHD with wide color coverage

The AOC GAMING Q27G4ZRAD/01 mounts a Fast IPS panel with viewing angles of 178/178 degrees and color reproduction that AOC describes as vivid and detailed. The rThe resolution is QHD (2,560 x 1,440) in 16:9 widescreen format, which, according to the brand, allows you to appreciate more detail than in a conventional Full HD panel of similar size.

Regarding brightness, the monitor reaches a peak of 400 cd/m2 with VESA DisplayHDR 400 certificationa combination that AOC links to wider contrast and richer color gamut in HDR-compatible content. The color space coverage declared by the manufacturer is 123.6% in sRGB, 95.2% in DCI-P3 and 91.4% in Adobe RGB, all measured under the CIE 1976 standard. The panel also incorporates an anti-reflective treatment to minimize distractions due to reflections under different ambient light conditions.

260 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response

The native refresh rate of the Q27G4ZRAD/01 is 240 Hzexpandable up to 260 Hz via overclock from the monitor’s own menu. AOC promises that at that speed each movement is rendered clearly, eliminating stuttering and providing a fluidity that the brand considers key during faster action.

The declared response time reaches up to 1 ms in GtG modewith an additional 0.3 ms in MPRT mode, figures that AOC associates with a practically total elimination of motion blur and ghosting. This translates, according to the company, into more precise tracking of objectives in first-person shooters, driving games and competitive esports titles. To avoid tearing and stuttering associated with a refresh that is out of sync with the graphics card, the panel has Adaptive-Sync and NVIDIA G-SYNC Certified Compatible.

Connectivity designed for both PC and console

The monitor incorporates a DisplayPort 1.4 portcapable of unlocking the full 260 Hz for those playing from PC, along with two HDMI 2.0 ports. The latter allow consoles such as PS5 or Xbox Series

As an added convenience, the Q27G4ZRAD/01 integrates a pair of stereo speakers of 2 W each. The monitor is also compatible with the AOC G-Menu softwarewhich allows you to make on-screen adjustments and apply predefined configuration profiles for different gaming scenarios.

AOC has equipped this model with a sturdy esports-inspired base that offers full height adjustment, with Up to 130mm of travel, plus tilt from -3° to 21°, pan from -28° to +28° and portrait rotation (pivot) from -90° to +90°. That range of motion makes it easy to adapt the panel’s position to both different desktop heights and multi-monitor setups, where the vertical orientation is useful for displaying chats, social media, or secondary information panels while gaming on the main screen.

For prolonged sessions, especially at night, the monitor incorporates Flicker-Free and Low Blue Mode technologydesigned to reduce visual fatigue accumulated during long games.

AOC sets the price of the GAMING Q27G4ZRAD/01 at 229 pounds sterling, which would be equivalent to about 264 euros applying the current exchange rate. The monitor includes the standard three-year warranty that AOC applies to its entire catalog, a support that the brand presents as a reflection of its commitment to the durability and quality of its products.

For now, AOC has not confirmed a specific date of availability for the Spanish marketalthough the launch in pounds sterling suggests that the United Kingdom will be one of the first European markets to receive the model.

AOC’s G4 series has been expanding in recent months with different variants that combine Fast IPS, curved VA and even QD-OLED panels under the same commercial family, differentiated mainly by resolution, refresh rate and starting price. The Q27G4ZRAD/01 is positioned within that range as the option focused on QHD with refresh rates above 240 Hz, an intermediate point between the most economical Full HD models in the range and the 4K variants aimed at an audience willing to pay more for resolution rather than pure speed.
