Biwin adds AMD EXPO Ultra Low Latency profiles to its DDR5 Black Opal DW100 memories

The technology of low latency for AMD RAMit seems to be being well received among manufacturers of this type of memory. Some manufacturers are releasing models that include these profiles for compatible AMD processors and boards, with reduced latency. Biwin also wants to offer these profiles, for this it has updated its memory Black Opal DW100 DDR5 to make it compatible with AMD EXPO-ULL.

Biwin Black Opal DW100 adds AMD EXPO-ULL profiles with optimized latencies

memory Biwin Black Opal DW100 will be updated to add the profiles AMD EXPO-ULLbut actually the hardware is not the same. These modules already had a model with speed of 6,000 MT/s and reduced latency CL28but the difference is in the complete timing where the secondary latencies that are stored in these profiles have been adjusted. Otherwise you would have to make these adjustments by hand, with the profiles you can adjust the latencies to the maximum with a couple of clicks.

For the tests, a 48GB kit of the brand, composed of 2 24 GB modules, and this aforementioned speed of 6,000 MT/s with CL28. The team has been a AMD Ryzen 5 9600X along with a graph GeForce RTX 5070 to resolution 1080p.

Up to 18.18% better performance in tests with AMD EXPO-ULL

In Counter Strike 2 it has been possible to increase a 8% FPS with a 11.91% improvement on 1% lowscompared to standard AMD EXPO profiles. Other tests in Black Myth: Wukong FPS has been increased by up to 18.18% minimum frame rate. Even so, these figures are those shared by the manufacturer and should not represent a representation of the real increase in games.

For now there is no availability datenor if the prices will be maintained when including these new profiles AMD EXPO-ULL.
