The Galaxy S26 FE leaks with IP68, 45W charging and a 50 MP main camera

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has few secrets left. What is so far the most complete leak of the terminal has been published, and for the first time we have a screen, cameras, battery and colors in a single package, instead of the loose parts that we had been knowing about for months.

Samsung has not confirmed anything officiallyas usually happens with this range until a few weeks before the launch. But the calendar helps us situate ourselves: the Fan Edition always arrives in the fall, and there are only a couple of months left for that. With the rate of leaks in recent weeks, it would not be strange if by then we even knew the starting price in each market.

Screen and processor: few surprises

Let’s start with the most predictable. 6.7-inch 120Hz FHD+ displaypractically identical to that of the S25 FE, and a Exynos 2500 ten cores as the engine of the device.

Samsung has been alternating between Exynos and Snapdragon for a couple of generations depending on the target market. That it is betting on its own chip in the FE says a lot about the confidence it has in this processor for next year.

In the photographic section, triple rear camera with a 50 MP main, 12 MP ultra wide angle and 8 MP telephoto lens, plus a 12 MP front. It is Samsung’s usual formula in this range: sensors that do not compete with those of an Ultra, but are more than enough for the FE to continue fulfilling its role as an affordable alternative within the catalog.

Whoever expected some surprise here can lower their expectations. With the S25 FE it was already clear that this range prioritizes a consistent result before innovating in photography, and everything indicates that this model will follow the same path.

Battery and a seal that is already taken for granted

The Battery rises to 4,900 mAh with 45W fast chargingfigures that place the S26 FE in the average of the current segment. For those who come from a Chinese brand accustomed to 65 W or more in this same price range, the figure may be somewhat short.

The terminal would also maintain the IP68 certification against water and dusta standard that Samsung has practically incorporated as standard in the entire Galaxy family for several generations. It is no longer anything new, although it is still a safe value that continues to be appreciated, especially among those who use their mobile phone daily in environments that are somewhat more demanding than an office.

Colors that still don’t quite add up

Regarding dimensions, we talk about 161.6 x 76.9 x 7.4mmwithin the norm for a 6.7-inch mobile. Where there is something curious is in the colors: this leak speaks of cranberry blue, graphite and pistachio greenwhile in May, with the first leaked cases, the list was quite different: black, gray, white and violet.

There is no need to see a contradiction there. Third-party cases are usually leaked before the manufacturer closes the final list, so it is reasonable to take both lists as approximations and wait for official confirmation from Samsung. It would not be the first time that a third-party accessory comes forward with colors that later do not completely match those approved by the brand.

Does it make up for the jump from the S25 FE?

This is actually the question that matters most.. The report itself indicates that the specifications come from several sources considered reliable and that coincide with each other, which makes it quite clear that the S26 FE will not bring drastic changes compared to its predecessor: new processor, a different color and little else.

With this panorama, Samsung will have to make an effort to justify the change. Most likely, it will bet on the camera and long-term software support, the same arguments that it has prioritized in the rest of the Galaxy range over the last year.

If the starting price is around 700 euros, or slightly above, a good part of S25 FE users will not find compelling reasons to renew, and could look towards a discounted S25 FE or the Pixel 10a, which remains a solid option within the affordable 5G segment. It is not a problem for Samsung either: the FE sells well precisely because it is the well-known and smooth option, not because it surprises in each generation.

The exact presentation date and, above all, the final price in Europe remains to be known, two pieces of information that Samsung usually reserves until the last weeks before the launch. Meanwhile, with this leak we already have almost everything there is to know about the Galaxy S26 FE, and the little that remains to be confirmed is unlikely to change too much the perception that we have already formed of the terminal.
