The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 destroys the benchmarks: we test the mobile chip that beats laptop processors in monocore and GPU
Of the two high-end SoC models that Qualcomm presented at its Snapdragon Summit 26 event, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 It is the most powerful and with the most functions and technologies.
We already know the specifications and theoretical capabilities of this chip, but now we have been able to test it first-hand and perform different benchmarks directly from the event or to check what it is capable of.
We have been able to carry out several performance tests, both with CPU and GPU benchmarks and also some specific AI ones, and the results are clear: The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 is the most powerful Android mobile processor on the market.

Comparison Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 vs. laptop processors
GeekBench: In single core, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 outperforms all laptop processors.
A really striking fact is found in the Geekbench 6 comparison; in Single Core, The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 is capable of leaving all laptop processors behinds, including the more capable Snapdragon AMD Ryzen 9 9955 HX3D or the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX.

Naturally, due to the limitations of space, power and temperatures, in multi-core tests things change, but it is capable of offering performance, at least in this benchmark, close to quite capable models, surpassing, for example, the occasional Intel Core i9-13900HX.

3DMark: Adreno GPU outperforms most PC integrated GPUs
The Steel Nomad Light Unlimite test also gives us a more general overview of the power of this processor, and more especially of its Adreno GPU. This test is cross-platform and is also compatible with Windows computers, so we can make a comparison with integrated laptop GPUs.
The results are striking: The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 outperforms the vast majority of integrated graphics cards in laptop (and desktop) processors, offers performance above GPUs like the AMD Radeon 890M found in the AMD Ryzen Z2 AI Extreme of portable consoles like the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally (who knows if we will see a console with this Snapdragon), and also the Intel Arc 140v.
More recent models such as the Intel Arc B390 or the powerful Radeon 8060S (the fastest in the world) are still far above, but a mobile processor draws a lot of attention, with its very low consumption.
