The KyTyPS5 emulator for PC has gone from moving Demon’s Souls at 1 FPS to 30 FPS in just a few days
Console emulators for PC continue to advance in leaps and bounds, but this time we are not talking about the RS3PC, the PlayStation 3 emulatorbut rather an emulator of the current Sony console, the PlayStation 5. Just a few days ago I was able to run games like Demon’s Souls with an unplayable rate of 1 FPS. Just a few days later the game has already become more fluid reaching the 30FPS.
The PS5 emulator KyTyPS5 reaches 30 FPS with Demon’s Souls
The emulator KyTyPS5 is now able to achieve 30 FPS in the game Demon’s Soulthe same one that a week ago could only show how the menu and character creation worked. The FPS rate has gone from between 1 and 3 to 10 and 18 in a later version and now the current version in development is capable of reaching 30 FPS. But at the moment this game still needs some adjustments, since the FPS rate can drop to 18 FPS in some scenes.
It is also not known what type of hardware is necessary to achieve this FPS figure. Other developers of PS5 emulators for PC They have already had their eye on this KyTyPS5, since it seems Demon’s Souls seems like an important challenge apparently overcome in the emulation of this console.
KyTyPS5 is still in an early phase of development
The developers continue working to bring the PS5 software playable on PCalthough at the moment this emulator that promises so much is in a very early phase. These types of advances, capable of offering a much higher FPS rate in just a few days, suggest that we will soon be able to see KyTyPS5 running many more games from this current generation of Sony consoles.
