The eufy S2 Max cuts up to 15,000 m² without perimeter cable or RTK antenna
Anker has shown at IFA 2026 the eufy Robot Lawn Mower S2 Maxits first lawnmower robot developed entirely by the company. We were able to see a unit of this model in Berlin, which combines four large wheels, a front vision module and a deployable cutting arm.
The equipment is aimed at extensive and complicated terrain. Can map and cut areas up to 15,000 square metersworks on slopes of 80% and dispenses with both the perimeter cable and an external RTK antenna.
3D vision and 48 TOPS to navigate without RTK
The S2 Max uses the TrueVision technology to recognize the environment and generate a three-dimensional map while moving. Its processing platform reaches 48 TOPS and is locally responsible for interpreting the images, locating the robot and detecting obstacles.
In its front part a set with two camerasaccompanied by sensors integrated into the body. This setup allows you to get started without burying a conductor around the yard or setting up an RTK base with sky visibility. Anker has not yet detailed which objects it can recognize or the necessary lighting conditions.
All-wheel drive for 38-degree slopes

All four wheels have traction and deep knobby tires. The exposed unit also reveals suspension components with independent travel, designed to maintain mobility over bumps and height differences.
Anker declares a maximum slope of 80%, equivalent to about 38 degrees. The current eufy E15 and E18 allow 40% or 18 degrees and cover, respectively, 800 and 1,200 square meters. These figures show the change in scale of the S2 Max, although data on autonomy, charging time and surface area served in a day are missing.
Two discs and an arm to sharpen the edges

The main system uses two cutting discs located under the chassis. Added to these is a side arm that extends a blade when the robot circulates next to walls, curbs and other boundaries of the plot. Once this section is finished, the mechanism is housed again on the side.
The purpose is to reduce the strip of grass that is usually out of reach of the lower plates. The company calls this function edge-to-edge cutting, but has not indicated the distance the arm reaches or the margin it maintains with respect to hard surfaces.
The S2 Max also incorporates a large stop button on the top cover and protections around the body. Its launch in Europe is scheduled for May 2027.. Price, dimensions, water protection and cutting height adjustments will be announced later.
