Acer launches the Nitro 30, a 28-liter gaming PC with Radeon RX 9070 XT and Ryzen 7 8700F
Acer has officially launched the Nitro 30, a 28 liter desktop gaming PC which combines an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F with a Radeon RX 9070 XT. The equipment joins the brand’s already pre-assembled Nitro desktop catalog, which until now included the Nitro 85 and 60 models in international markets.
The chassis features a semi-closed front panel with the Nitro logo prominently marked, as well as a tempered glass side that reveals the internal components. For now, confirmed availability is limited to the Japanese marketalthough the presence of other models in the Nitro range outside of Japan leaves the door open for an international launch later.
A 28-liter chassis with a focus on basic cooling
The Japanese model, identified as N30-100-F73Z97X, mounts 32GB DDR5-5600 memory in dual channel configuration (two 16 GB modules) and one 1TB NVMe SSD connected by PCIe Gen4. The power supply is 850 W with 80 PLUS Gold certificationa generous figure for a mid-high range GPU like the Radeon RX 9070 XT.
The cooling system is solved with three fans– Two 120mm RGB-lit fans on the front and back, plus a third RGB fan dedicated to the CPU. According to the technical sheet published by Acer Japan, the RGB lighting cannot be turned off while the device is on, a detail that those who prefer a more discreet look will have to take into account before purchasing.
With 28 liters of volume, The chassis is located at an intermediate point within the catalog of gaming desktops: more compact than traditional ATX towers of more than 40 liters, but without reaching the reduced size of mini-ITX formats. This combination seeks to facilitate installation on desktops with little available space without giving up standard-sized components or sufficient airflow for a GPU of the caliber of the RX 9070 XT.
Barebones connectivity, distributed between front and motherboard
The input and output section is kept simple. The front panel includes two USB 3.2 5Gbps Type A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type C port, and one 3.5mm combo audio jack. On the back, on the motherboard itself, there is a PS/2 port, two additional USB 3.2 5Gbps Type-A ports, four USB 2.0 Type-A ports, separate audio jacks for line-in, line-out, and microphone, and one GbE RJ45 Ethernet port.
The graphics card provides three DisplayPort outputs and one HDMIwithout Acer having specified the exact version of each connector. Given the rest of the configuration, it is most likely DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1, the usual standards on RDNA 4 cards in this range.

Audio and software: DTS:X Ultra and Acer Intelligence Space
Acer completes the team with DTS:X Ultra sound supportdesigned to offer a surround sound experience without the need for an additional speaker system. The Nitro 30 also includes compatibility with Acer Intelligence Spacea software package downloadable from the brand’s website that brings together tools such as Creator Space, ProCam, Game Assistant and Desktop Utilities.
Windows 11 Home It comes pre-installed from the factory, following the usual configuration of the rest of the Nitro range for the Japanese market.
Acer has put the Nitro 30 on sale exclusively through its official online store, the various Acer Direct points and Amazon in Japan, without mentioning specific plans for other regions.
The price of the Nitro 30 is 588,000 yen, a figure that is equivalent to approximately 3,165 euros at the current exchange rate. The figure gives a rough idea of the range in which Acer could place this configuration if it decides to bring it to other countries.
To put that figure in context, it’s worth remembering that the Japanese market typically charges higher retail prices than other areas for equivalent PC hardware, partly due to the local distribution structure and partly due to the exchange rate itself. This means that this Japanese price should not be taken as a direct reference to what a hypothetical equivalent model sold in Europe would cost, where Acer usually adjusts both the configuration and the price to the conditions of each market.
For the moment, those interested in the Nitro 30 will have to settle for following Japanese availability or wait for Acer to confirm whether it repeats the formula outside its borders, something that will largely depend on how sales of the model evolve in its launch market.
